Loss of Nipsey

I was saddened to hear about the loss of Nipsey Russell last week. I had the honor of bumping into him just a year and a half ago at one of the Hollywood Squares Game Show Week tapings and he seemed like a great guy. He was an instant expert at any game he played, and I'm glad we'll be able to remember those moments going forward thanks to GSN reruns.

I'm not watching Amazing Race this year because 1)I don't want to hear whiny children and 2)They don't appear to be leaving North America. Sounds like an Amazing Bore to me. Let's hope they learn from the error of their ways and return back to the formula that seemed to work better for most fans (although admittedly ratings seem to be holding firm for this season).

I'm secretly hoping that GSN will utilize the On Demand features that most cable companies now offer their viewers. It could be a good way for people to find some of their original programs (or maybe even show some of the lesser-seen reruns that never seem to find their way to the schedule).
