Today was Drew's first aired episode. Turns out it was his 7th taped. Go figure. I was really surprised to see no shoutout to Bob, or some kind of handing over of the torch. At this point that's obviously not going to happen.

Drew had some good moments but honestly I didn't see him being much stronger than many of the audition tapes I saw from earlier in the year. He kept the game moving along well enough, but the rapport I expected him to develop with the contestants just wasn't there. That may be something that builds over time so we'll have to keep our eyes open.

And while I'm glad he delivered the spay/neuter line at the end, it came off so awkward I almost wished he hadn't.

This other online review was even less friendly.
