Coming Soon, The Mystery Date Game Show

Have you been clamoring for an out of fashion board game to be made into a game show? Well then Trivial Pursuit is for you! It will be coming back in Syndication this Fall.

Don't we all remember the horrible Trivial Pursuit show that Family Channel put on back in the 1990s? Interactive playbreaks everywhere (at some crazy rate like $5/call). The fact that there's an "America Plays" element to the title makes me fear they're going to try that again.

I'm just floored that that's the best new game we can come up for Fall (I realize Deal or no Deal will be in syndication, which I'm fine with, because in a half hour format it will be far more tolerable). Hell, there's even other board games out there I'd like to see made into shows. How about a well-done adaptation of Taboo (that TNN version was a mess), or maybe 25 Words or Less? But Trivial Pursuit is far past its prime.
