Flip Flop

2/25/00 - Present

Flip Flop is a game played for a four-digit prize. Similar to Side By Side, the four digits of the prize are shown in two groups of two. However, the initial setting of the digits is incorrect. The contestant can [1], "Flip" the first two digits and reverse their order (i.e., "58" would become "85"), [2], "Flop" the last two digits and reverse their order, or, [3], "Flip Flop," and reverse the order of both sets of digits. Should the contestant Flip/Flop/Flip Flop correctly, s/he wins the prize.

It's the premiere of Flip Flop! We're playing for a boat, which is NOT priced $7561. Here is a closeup of that wrong price, complete with the standard TPiR asterisks.
Should he "Flip" those first two digts, from "75" to "57"? Or, should he "Flop" the last two digits, from "61", to "16"?
Or, could it be that he must "Flip Flop" the price to $5716? After conferring with the audience, he's decided to Flop.

Unfortunately, he should have Flipped, and not Flopped. The actual price was $5761. Confused yet?
