Todd earned the role of head Whammy-wrangler from a list of very qualified applicants, including original Press Your Luck host Peter Tomarken. Todd may be best known to game show fans as host of one GSN's most successful original series, Hollywood Showdon. Todd also served briefly as the host of Lover's Lounge, a celebrity guest show on GSN which aired between relationship shows such as Newlywed Game and original 3's a Crowd. Todd also helped launch the successful syndicated show Hot Ticket, a weekly look at new movies. Todd is still very involved with the E! Television Network in various hosting and voice-over capacities. Todd got his start in show business in St. Louis, where he hosted a local radio show. Todd is a self-proclaimed game show fan and has said on numerous occassions that hosting Whammy! is one of the best gigs he's ever had.
Gary Kroeger's career spans over two decades, staring with a succesful three-year stint on the legendary Saturday Night Live, from 1982-1985. He's starred with greats like George Hamilton and Kevin Bacon on television and on the big screen. His game show career began in 1996 when he hosted the Newlywed Game half of the Dating-Newlywed Hour, produced by Sony. He was the announcer on the short-lived Card Sharks revival that aired between September, 2001 - January, 2002. Besides announcing on Whammy!, Gary is in charge of whipping the audience into a frenzy before the show and keeping them well-entertained during break. Gary is also the owner of Figaro Figaro, a restaurant in Simi Valley, California.
