Random Musings

These will be updated periodically on a drink-by-drink basis.

*Press Your Luck decorated the set for Christmas each year with garland behind the players and "Merry" (top row) "Xmas" (bottom row) on the board.  No mention of Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, thought they didn't really fit the board.

*Peter Tomarken wore the same exact suit on the last episode of Hit Man as he did on the first episode of Press Your Luck.

*One contestant mashed his buzzer so hard he actually broke it, warranting a choppy edit and a complete redesign of the buzzer.

*Press Your Luck can be seen in the opening to the movie "The Cable Guy" and is probably the only enjoyable scene in that movie.

*At least two prizes were misspelled on the board.  Flatwear--which was really Flatware, and not flat clothing--and Skiis, which needed to sell a vowel (which, at the time, would have netted CBS a cool $250).
