Triple Play is a game played for three cars, the first and only game ever to offer three cars (It's Optional offered two cars). The cars are ordered by increasing value. For the first car, the contestant is shown two prices. Neither price is exactly the price of the car, but one of them is closer. The contestant must pick the price that is closest to the ARP of the car without going over. Although both prices may be under the ARP of the car, obviously only one is the closest. Should the contestant guess correctly on the first car, s/he moves on to the second car. The game is played identically here, but now there are three prices shown. Should the contestant guess this price correctly, s/he moves onto the last car, which has four prices shown. Should s/he guess which of those is closest to the ARP without going over, s/he wins all three cars. Any miss along the way ends the game and the contestant leaves with nothing.
On the first playing of the game, the cars offered were of 3 different "types" (i.e., a car, a truck, and a van).
Triple Play utilizes all three doors and a unique method of displaying the cars...one at a time, with Bob speaking in between the display of each cars. The cars are not described until the contestant reaches them; so, should a contestant not reach the second or third car, no prize description would be read for those cars.
Triple Play premiered on TPiR's 29th season premiere on 10/2/00.

| Now it gets tougher; she must choose from three prices. She's decided to take the middle price... | ...but she's wrong! The ARP is $15,650, which means the first price was closest. But you have to admit, this will be exciting once the game is won! |
